SUMMARY:Annual Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION: \nAnnual Christmas Concert\n \nOn Saturday, December 7 the Salisbury Association will present their popular Christmas Concert with “The Salisbury Four.”  This annual event will begin at 7 pm at the historic Academy Building, 24 Main Street in Salisbury, CT.\n \nThe concert will feature a quartet performing works from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque Periods, along with music of the season.  Musicians include Judith Dansker–oboe and recorder, Alicia DePaolo—soprano, Christopher Morrongiello—lute, and Marcia Young—soprano and renaissance harp.\n \nDansker has performed widely with many chamber music ensembles, is on the faculty of Simons Rock of Bard College, and is a member of The Hevreh Ensemble.   DePaolo has appeared as a soloist in various opera and oratorio roles.  Morrongiello directs the Bachelor Consort and teaches music history at Hofstra University. Young is a member of My Lord Chamberlains Consort, Duo Marchand, and the medieval trio Trefoil.\n \nTickets are $30.00 and include refreshments and sweets.  For reservations, contact The Salisbury Association at 860-435-0566 or info@salisburyassociation.org.\n \n
