It’ll be your best kept secret you’ll want to tell everyone about. Winter in Norfolk means Maple Season!\n\nYour weekend of beautiful and snowy country adventures includes culinary delights, gorgeous (not precious) accommodations where you’ll tuck into your room where every nook and cranny was considered with cozy in mind.\n\nWarm and inviting meals together. Friday welcome dinner, Saturday morning pastries and coffee, hearty farm lunch, hands-on “cooking class dinner” and culminating Sunday brunch before we say goodbye until the next time. Of course maple will play a featured role!\n\nActivities. Explore winter on the farm and see what we grow in the colder months; you’ll meet our mushroom “expert” who will share the science and excitement of mushroom cultivation.\n\nField Trip. Visit a wonderful sugar shack at Mt Kadam Forest Farm, owned and operated by Farm Manager Adam Buggy. He’ll show us every step of maple production including tastings of sap throughout the process.\n\nOther Options. Bring cross country skis or snowshoes for a winter outing on our own trails in the beautiful and protected  Great Mountain Forest. Exquisite scenery included.\n
