DESCRIPTION:The subject of the Historical Society’s 2022 summer exhibition will be WWII, as told through personal correspondence, photographs, G.I. standard issue equipment, commendations, medals, official documents, and mementos of family members who served.\nThis spring, The Roeliff Jansen Historical Society invites residents of the entire Roe Jan region to lend us WWII photographs, letters, and memorabilia from any branch of the Armed Forces, and from service at home or overseas. We also welcome stories and memories that have been handed down through the generations.\nObject Induction Dates and Times\nThe Historical Society Museum will be open from 2 to 4 PM on the following dates to receive your WWII items.\nAll items put on loan will be photographed, itemized and registered, and an official loan agreement will be provided.
