The public is enthusiastically invited and welcomed on two weekends: October 19-20 and October 26-27, 11:00am-5:00pm each day. Not only will you get a chance to interact with artists in their creative settings but you will be traveling interesting rural roads in the beautiful countryside of the Hudson Valley during peak foliage season.\nThe dream of every artist is to have visitors come to their studio and talk about their work. You will have the opportunity to ask them about their latest projects and you’ll find yourself absorbed into their world. With 25 artists on the tour, you will find artists working in a diverse range of mediums. If you think you’ve seen it all before, take a look at the website and get yourself a brochure and you’ll find new work and new faces added to the tour this year. Mediums and styles to be found are 3d/sculptors, fiber artists, photographers, folk artists and painters so there will always be something to see that will catch your interest.\nAll of the artists on the tour have original work for sale and many artists do commissions, too. Attending the ArtEast Open Studio tour is a fantastic way to support local artists and contribute to the growth of the Hudson Valley art scene. By purchasing artwork directly from the artists or commissioning a custom piece, you are not only investing in their careers but also helping to sustain a thriving local artistic ecosystem and you will go home with a beautiful, one of a kind piece of art.\nYou can keep up with the events of ArtEast by following its FaceBook page and instagram accounts.
