The 2nd annual Hudson Valley Rodeo is coming to Amenia, NY, on Saturday, September 17! Held at Keane Stud, this is an event full of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Doors will be opening at 12pm, and there is plenty of fun to look forward to before the rodeo begins. You can see rodeo clowns, barrel racing demonstrations, and music from local country music artists! There will also be a rodeo roping clinic, conversations about animal care, meet-and-greet photo opportunities with cowboys and cowgirls, face-painting, and a stick horse rodeo competition for young children. Local food trucks, beverages, and local vendors will also be available!

The rodeo starts at 3pm, and will feature Mutton Bustin’, Barrel Racing, Roping, Bronc Riding, and Bull Riding! At this nationwide competition of top hands, some of the east’s best cowboys will go head to head with western cowboys!

Once the rodeo finishes up, the concert field will open at 6pm. The show starts at 7pm, featuring special guest performer Matt Ferranti. After that, award-winning country music star Brett Young will be performing at 8pm!

The Hudson Valley Rodeo is presented by the Amenia-Wassaic Community Organization (AWCO), and all net proceeds from the event will be benefiting the AWCO and its programs.
