I finally went to the Neverstill Winery tasting room on Warren Street in Hudson this past weekend. Not only are the wines wonderful, the space is gorgeous and the tasting room staff makes the experience personal and engaging. I liked all the wines, from a Cayuga PetNat to variations on Riesling to a beautiful CabFranc-based rose to the bottle I came home with, a Chenin Blanc. Yes, Chenin Blanc from the Finger Lakes! Bright and clean and juicy, with notes of white peach and even some lemon meringue pie, every sip was sumptuous. Neverstill’s Cabernet Franc will be available in October – another tasty treat!! I’m writing a full feature about Neverstill Winery for our November issue, so keep your eyes out! The Neverstill tasting room is at 739 Warren Street in Hudson. Learn more at neverstillwines.com.
