As we purrpare to celebrate the first leg of our first ever pawliday season, we’re not exactly sure what to expect, but our tales are fluffed with excitement just the same. According to our kid sister, Ellie, first we eat a huge turkey. She describes it as something that’s “larger than the two of us put together.” Woah! We’re allowed an extremely limited amount of table scraps (as long as Mom isn’t looking), but can’t wait to feast our eyes on this larger than life bird. One thing is fur sure – we’ll praise this bird with thanks. What are we thankful fur this year you ask? That we have a huge basket of toys to play with (plus toys that we try to steal furrom Ellie). Let’s not furrget the variety of foods we get to try now that we are weaned off kitten food. We certainly can’t furrget how thankful we are to roof ovfurr our heads and to have become part of such a loving and caring family.
Moving onto Furriday, sorry in advance if you hear Christmas music blaring from a mile away, as Mom is scheduled to clean the house from top to bottom in prepurration for decorating Caturday for Christmas. We’re not quite sure how this differs furrom any other day; Mom’s been listening to Christmas since they arrived home furrom trick-or-treating. Also, she’s constantly cleaning. We can’t wait to walk all ovfurr her wet floors!
Anywho, decorating for Christmas sounds like fun and we can’t wait to lend our paws in the decorating purrocess. We’ve been warned already that the nine foot, pre-lit tree is not a toy and that Santa Paws will be watching. We’ll do our best but can’t make purromises. After all, we are just curious little babies, celebrating Christmas fur the first time. Santa Paws will still come see us even if we accidentally get into trouble, right? Asking fur a furriend.
