A Christmas Miracle

By Published On: December 18th, 2024

Ho ho hello furriends,

The pawlidays are upon us and Santa Paws is coming next week! Imagine to your surprise (and mine) I don’t have anything in particular on my list this year. I’m sure the big guy knows by now I’d never turn down pawty-‘mix and catnip. Paws crossed Santa Paws brings you something good, too!

Purrhaps what I should be asking fur is a Christmas miracle. I’m not sure how else to break the news to you all, but I’m officially retiring in 2025. As you know, I’ve been in and out of the vet’s office more than I’d like to admit recently dealing with some health issues and I need to focus on taking care of myself, resting, and soaking up all the love furrom my family. (Mom if you’re reading this, I’ll even let you smother me in kisses.)

As I reflect back on the number of years I’ve been writing to you (236 times to be exact), we’ve really bonded ovfurr some incredible stories. Holidays, my kid sister starting school, house purrojects, veterinary appointments, car rides, our love fur Shania Twain (actually that’s mainly Mom), the many pants I wear, COVID-19, summer adventures, being on the covfurr of Main Street Magazine, and so much more. Furrom the very bottom of my heart, thank you all so much for your many years of readership and support. You sure all know how to make a feline feel loved.

Until we meet again, I’m wishing you all a very happy, but more importantly, HEALTHY New Year!

With love,

Otis Joe 🐾
