Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations. https://www.dcspca.org

Ace

Incredibly sweet and friendly, five-year-old Ace enjoys the company of both humans and other cats. A very affectionate cat, Ace is the ideal pet for any household! Famous for requesting belly rubs, don’t be surprised when he expresses his love by rubbing his face all over you. Adorable Ace ended up in the shelter through no fault of his own. He’s looking for a forever family who will return his affection.

If you are interested in adopting Ace, or any of our other available pets, please visit the adopt page at www.DCSPCA.org. You can also come to the shelter Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA has been helping the animals of our region for more than 150 years.
