It’s time to “spring ahead” on Sunday. While that means losing an hour of sleep, it also means gaining more light in the evening. I’ll take it. A bottle that inspires spring for me is the Bruno Lafon Solis Rose. Crafted in the heart of rose country, Provence in southern France, this wine is a beautiful light pink color with a label festooned with budding flowers. I like it for the bottle alone, but I love it for the wine inside. A classic blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah, the wine has bright red-fruit notes dancing on crisp acidity. It pairs perfectly with anything from cheese and crackers to chicken, fish, pizza, even a juicy pork chop or big ol’ burger. Think Spring!
