Ann Ledy Circle and Square at Millbrook Arts Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 24, 2025
MILLBROOK, NY — The Millbrook Library and the Millbrook Arts Group are pleased to announce the formation of Millbrook Arts Project, a community art space.
Millbrook Library is a vital organization within the Town of Washington that has presented rotating art exhibitions for almost two decades. Millbrook Arts Group (MAG) has collaborated with the library for nearly as long. As an expansion of their partnership, MAG has contributed to the renovation of the Library Gallery and will provide funding for the curatorial oversight, exhibition design/production, and artist programming for an annual series of curated exhibitions. The Library will host exhibitions in the newly named Millbrook Arts Project, a community art space. This project is dedicated to offering exhibition opportunities to visual artists and enriching the experience of visual art in Millbrook and surrounding communities.
Please join us for our inaugural project, a solo exhibition titled, ANN LEDY: CIRCLE + SQUARE, an exhibition in 2 + 3 dimensions. The artist and educator moved from NYC to Dutchess County before the COVID pandemic and was instrumental in bringing together a new community of creatives. The majority of work on view was completed in her Millbrook Studio. Ledy’s works on paper are held in the collections of seventeen museums. For more information, visit aledy.com. The public is invited to an artist-led tour on February 1, 2025 at 4:30 PM, and a reception at 6:00 – 7:30 PM.
Millbrook Arts Project, a community art space is pleased to introduce its associates:
