The West Stockbridge Historical Society Jazz Series begins its 2023 season with the Brian Patneaude Quartet. The quartet of award-winning musicians features Patneaude on saxophone, Rob Lundquist on keyboard, Jarod Greico bass, and Danny Whelchel drums. Based in New York’s Capitol Region, Patneaude has been a mainstay in the Northeast jazz scene for many years. He was honored as Jazz Artist of the Year at the inaugural Eddies – Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards in 2019.

In addition to leading his own quartet (with five critically acclaimed albums to their credit) the saxophonist has enjoyed lengthy tenures with numerous area ensembles. And if that wasn’t enough, Patneaude teaches saxophone and directs the jazz combos at SUNY Schenectady.

Tickets ($35) can be reserved at weststockbridgehistory.org. There will be limited seating — first come, first served. COVID protocols at the time, will be observed.
