Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country. This shelter is no-kill shelter now and always. Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA. It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations.

Meet Milo, a 3-year-old male puggle with a heart of gold. Despite his gruff appearance, Milo is a sweet, gentle boy who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for snuggles. He was brought to us when his previous owner could no longer care for him, but he’s ready to find a new forever home.
