We arrived at our furrever home a good two months ago now. Overall, things are going quite smoothly and we’re settling into a routine. Except fur a few things that might need to be brought to CPS’ (Cat Purrtective Services) attention.
Fur starters, our living quarters are always spick-and-span. But let’s get something straight. We don’t have any cat beds – only real beds ranging furrom twin to king size. Pick your poison, as they are always stocked with clean sheets, multiple pillows, and many blankets. Not to mention the multiple sofas and cozy area rugs to snooze on. Fur playtime, we don’t just have a couple of toys to play with, we have a whole bucket of toys to pick furrom. Picking whether or not we want to pat a ball around or chase after a tethered worm on a string isn’t the easiest decision.
Don’t even get us started on the food situation. We have dry food left out fur us around the clock, a fresh bowl of filtered refrigerator water, our own bowls of wet food served promptly at 7pm evfurry evening, and treats when we get our nails trimmed. Speaking of manicures, to sharpen our nails, we have multiple scratching posts to pick furrom with an array of textures and colors spread out around the house fur our convenience. Segueing into grooming, Mom is always making sure our coats are in tip-top condition with brushings multiple times purr week. Don’t even get us started on our hoomans. They dote on us hand and foot; giving us undivided attention, endless pets, and snuggles.
With all that being said, consider our flabbers gasted CPS hasn’t been called or notified at the very least. Mom put in so many applications to finally find us. With only one place giving her a hard time (that’s a story for another time, but a completely laughable situation), someone needs to tell them this is the BEST household any feline could evfurr ask fur. We’re super fortunate to live our lives here and can only pray all fellow felines find a home equally as comfurrtable and loving as ours.
Purrhaps we should be the ones to call CPS. Does anyone have a phone we can get our paws on to make the call?
