A line of XXL Moscatos has hit the market by storm, and it’s easy to understand why. The wines combine the delicious sweetness of a moscato with a fresh fruit flavor AND an “xxl” ABV. I’m talking a high alcohol by volume – 16%. This wine calls itself “Moscato Without Manners.” And what the heck? It’s not a bad antidote to the headlines these days. There are many flavors, but since spring is finally creeping its way into our wardrobes and gardens, how about Strawberry & Grapes? It’s bursting with sweet strawberry notes and a hint of concord grape. It’s effervescent, too, so it tickles going down.
