These first weeks of 2021 call for something stronger than wine, so I’m taking a detour this week.
It’s a chance to sing the praises of a wonderful place in Columbia County, too. This weekend I highly recommend making your way to Cooper’s Daughter Spirits at Olde York Farm for an artisan cocktail.
I’d go for The Queen’s Toddy – a sublime blend of Cooper’s Daughter Black Currant Liqueur, Orange + Pistachio Vodka, Harney & Sons Earl Grey Tea, Rose Bitters, but there are several other amazing selections to take the chill off (in so many ways!).
Cooper’s Daughter has a big fire pit and several heaters on its outdoor patio. They also have great food. This Friday and Saturday Wildfire is there for two days of back to back farm-to-table taco pop ups, but every weekend features a local food vendor for great pairings with the cocktails.
