It’s looking like another sunny skies kind of weekend. I can’t help it. At this time of year I just love to drink pink. Rose goes with everything – fish, chicken, burgers, ribs, picnics, cheese plates, charcuterie, cookies – you get the idea. Another one of my favorites is the aptly named Summer Water. This rose is from California, and it’s a beautiful light pink color with the characteristic red fruit notes that finish with a citrusy, zingy, dry wine pop. It scored an impressive 91 points from Wine Enthusiast, and its tagline is “soaked in sun, not sugar…For the summer state of mind, anytime.” Cheers!
