If Earth Day is about bringing awareness to the planet, and that awareness can be on a large or a small scale, it seems appropriate to be especially aware of LOCAL at this time.
A winery that opened recently in Columbia County, NY is Sabba Vineyard, in Old Chatham, NY. Abby has been growing grapes on his site for years and making some wonderful wines.
Pictured are a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Cabernet France that won awards at the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival last September.
