All Kinds Of Bugs
Mom was right – school is back in session, which means evfurryone is apt to get a bug of some sort. Mom took Ellie to the doctors yesterday just to be on the safe side because when someone is feeling even just a little under the weather, sneezes sideways, or coughs because a piece of catnip went down the wrong pipe; now-a-days folks automatically assume its Covid. You know what assume means people? Sorry fur the cattitude – but this is even starting to affect me purrsonally.
My licky thing is coming back. Mom is bugging out about it and even went as far as calling the vets after trying to pry my mouth open to conduct her own dental exam. I don’t want to bore you with the details, so I’ll make the long story short. Because my doctor doesn’t have access to a dental x-ray machine, there is no way fur her to tell if something is bothering me under the gum line. She suggested that Mom monitor me to see if I make any impurrovements ovfurr the next couple of weeks. If I don’t, I might have to try out some new medications. Doc even put a bug in Mom’s ear about the possibility of me having anxiety. Need I remind evfurryone I’m an indoor kitty – what could I possibly be anxious about?
The silvfurr lining in all of this is that Ellie and I are letting our bodies rest and have had extra time together to catch-up on some Disney + Pixar classics. Our new favfurrite is A Bug’s Life. I must say – the graphics are purretty good fur a 98’ animation.
