Last weekend called for a spring fling wine, white and wet and cold.

This weekend, however, we’re back to hibernating, and that’s ok. Let’s pop a Bordeaux and indulge.

You can’t go wrong with a red from this region in France, world-renowned for quality. It’s where the new Musee du Vin is located, too. You can visit it virtually until you can get there in person. It’s on my Bucket List, for sure.

And to enjoy with that and anything French – or anything at all – savor the Chateau Beausejour Pentimento Montagne-Saint-Emilion. Besides being a delicious, big-bodied red featuring Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, and Merlot, the wine is crafted by a team that includes Michele D’Aprix, the first American female making wine in Bordeaux.
