Coming or Going?
Mom doesn’t furget much at all. That is until recently she furrgot what day her doctor’s appointment was on. She showed up an entire day early. I guess that’s better than missing it all together? The point I’m trying to purrove is that our schedules are so busy right meow, we don’t know if we are coming or going – hence the pose in this week’s picture.
Thank goodness fur Mom writing this all down on the calendar, I know exactly when the fam-bam has planned events in the next couple of weeks. Papa’s birthday, Father’s Day, an annual picnic celebration, a holiday, pre-k graduation, and a weekend get-away. (Side note – are we taking bets Mom will cry like a baby again when Ellie graduates pre-k? I’m going to go out on a limb and say yes.)
As fur me, well, my schedule is jam packed too. Sleeping and eating are my main events. Howevefurr I’ll be suppur busy running furrom window to window, keeping a close eye on potential predators passing by. The birds are happily making nests in the birdhouses on the furront deck. And there is a little hummingbird that zooms by evfurry once and a while, too. The carpenters bees are still doing their thing…buzzy, I mean, busy destroying the house. I’ve spotted a couple deer. Mom isn’t too happy with them right now. Ellie brought home a special plant fur Mother’s Day, which the deer decided to eat as a snack. The other night I also spotted a skunk. He’s not the most preferred guest, but as long as he doesn’t spurray some of that iconic rank purrfume, we can be furriends….furrom a distance. Lastly, apparently there’s been a bear feasting on our garbage. I haven’t purrsonally seen him, but I’ll try to keep an eye out fur him in between my planned catnaps.
Phew! I don’t know if I’m coming or going right meow.
