Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations. https://www.dcspca.org

Dino

Three-year-old Dino is a goofy guy who loves to play. Toss him a ball and he couldn’t be happier. At the shelter, Dino inspires smiles in everyone with his enthusiasm for games of fetch and squeaky toys. An easygoing boy, 59lb Dino walks wonderfully on a leash. He is housetrained and looking for his forever family.

If you are interested in adopting Dino, or any of our other available pets, please visit the adopt page at www.DCSPCA.org. You can also come to the shelter Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA has been helping the animals of our region for more than 150 years.
