The Otis Feed

We’ve all heard the saying “sharing is caring”. Well, Dad took this quite literally when he came home a couple weeks ago with the common cold, which he promptly gave to Ellie. Poor kid was down and out fur a few days, but then bounced back after sharing the cold with Mom.

Mom sure knows how to make evfurry one else feel better, but when she was sick no one knew what to do. That is, until Dr. Ellie showed up. Thank goodness fur her doctor kit and her knowledge of sophisticated tools!

Ellie listened to Mom’s heart with her telescope, and quickly noted “sounds great!” She checked her eyes, throat, teeth, and her reflexes too. All of which were in purrfect working order. The only thing Dr. Ellie came back with was a fever. Not knowing how to make Mom feel better, Ellie gave Mom a sticker fur being a good girl at the doctors.

I also wanted do my part to help Mom feel better. A wise man once said, “the best medicine has four paws”. I have those! Time to work my magic. I didn’t leave Mom’s side fur two days; just constantly snuggling and making sure to purr her to sleep. It must have worked, because now Mom is back to feline better!
