Despite the daily dose of uncertainty and anxiety around life as we used to know it, spring is springing. The grass is getting greener by the hour, it seems. Forsythia and daffodils are blooming. The days are blessedly longer and the temperatures are slowly but steadily rising.

Thank goodness for Mother Nature.

When this happens, people’s tastes tend to turn from bigger-bodied red wines to lighter and crisper whites. If you’re looking to support local in these trying times, it’s safe to say that any and all of the nearby wineries offer a lovely dry white that’s just right – or a few!

Hudson-Chatham Winery offers several (pictured), including a much-loved Blanc de Blanc (prosecco-style sparkling wine). Like most wineries, too, Hudson-Chatham offers curb-side pick up and free delivery options.

Be safe, raise a toast to your blessings, and go ahead and wine a little….or a lot.

Cheers.
