The Center on Main Expands Big Talk Program

[Falls Village, CT]: Home to the Falls Village Children’s Theater, the Center on Main rolled out new programs throughout 2024 that provided more opportunities for creative expression and meaning making.

One of these programs, Big Talk, struck a chord with the community: “I was pleasantly surprised to make deeper connections in conversation with both people I have known casually and have never met. I really enjoyed myself.”

“It’s amazing how open people can be when they feel psychologically safe! You managed to attract the ‘right’ people. The questions were the perfect mix – enough to go deep but also with some that left room for people to be more guarded in their responses.”

“Very interesting, great meeting new people, the time went surprisingly fast.”

Thanks to the support of the Falls Village Community Development Corporation, the Center on Main will be offering Big Talk throughout the winter, creating opportunities for friends and strangers to have meaningful conversations without the pressure of knowing what to ask or say.

Friday, December 13th, 7:30-9:00 PM. Suggested donation: $5. Ages 18+. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
