Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations.

Falcon

If you’re looking for an independent kitty who is happy keeping to themselves most of the time (or hanging with other cats in the house) Falcon might be the perfect low-maintenance cat for you.

This handsome guy’s a very docile kitty who is extremely cat friendly and would love to go to a home with other feline friends.

Falcon is a special kitty who was diagnosed with FIV and mild dental disease. Due to his FIV+ status and his previous dental care we recommend annual exams with your veterinarian.Don’t worry, Falcon can live a long, happy life! But he should be monitored to avoid getting infections. He can live with other cats who don’t have FIV.
