It’s peach season, and I’m happy. I love peaches. I love just about everything peach – pie, cobbler, jam, ice cream, and fresh of course – so I couldn’t resist trying Stella Rosa Peach wine. In addition to tasting like a super-fresh, ripe peach, this wine is light in alcohol (5%!), semi-dry (it’s not too sweet), made with natural flavors in Italy, and is slightly sparkling. I put some fresh peach cubes in the freezer, put them in a champagne flute, topped them with the Stella Rosa Peach wine, and topped this with a splash of plain seltzer for a bit of extra bubble. It was so perfect for a summer night. I paired it with some pistachios and aged cheddar. Delicioso!
