Dozer is a good dog for an active family with teenage children. This 3.5 year old loves to play tug games, go for rides in the car and for runs and hikes. He is obedient, but needs to be gently reminded of his manners when he gets excited. He might also be okay with having a canine sibling, but cats are a deal-breaker.
Since the COVID-19 state of emergency, the DCSPCA adoption process has changed. If you are interested in adopting Dozer, or any of our other available pets, please visit the adopt page at www.dcspca.org. After choosing a pet and submitting the online application, your application will be reviewed and an adoption counselor will contact you to make an appointment.
The Dutchess County SPCA is now open to the public Thursdays through Sundays, 12pm to 4pm. Entry is limited to two people at a time, so there may be a wait to enter.
