Jax

At 11 months old, Jax is the complete package! He has a joyful personality and will love whatever you want to do — a walk, a hike, a ride in the car, a game of catch, let’s go!!!  He’s very smart and a quick learner and like all puppies, will need structure, consistent training and plenty of exercise.
Jax weighs 70 pounds and will get a bit bigger before he’s done growing. While he wants to be a friend to everyone, his clumsy puppy exuberance would be best with children that are 11+ years old. Jax will be an awesome family dog or a single person’s BFF!
If you are interested in adopting Jax, or any of our other available pets, please visit the adopt page at www.dcspca.org. We are now open for walk-in hours on Wednesday through Sunday, 12pm – 4pm. Check the website to make sure the pet you want to meet is in the shelter and not in foster. To meet a pet in foster care, you must complete the adoption application and make an appointment.
Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is celebrating 150 years of helping the animals of our region.
