At 11 months old, Jax is the complete package! He has a joyful personality and will love whatever you want to do — a walk, a hike, a ride in the car, a game of catch, let’s go!!!  He’s very smart and a quick learner and like all puppies, will need structure, consistent training and plenty of exercise.
Jax weighs 70 pounds and will get a bit bigger before he’s done growing. While he wants to be a friend to everyone, his clumsy puppy exuberance would be best with children that are 11+ years old. Jax will be an awesome family dog or a single person’s BFF!
If you are interested in adopting Jax, or any of our other available pets, please visit the adopt page at We are now open for walk-in hours on Wednesday through Sunday, 12pm – 4pm. Check the website to make sure the pet you want to meet is in the shelter and not in foster. To meet a pet in foster care, you must complete the adoption application and make an appointment.
