The Housatonic Valley Association (HVA), a conservation organization dedicated to the tri-state Housatonic watershed, has recently received a grant of nearly $100,000 from the Long Island Sound Study Community Impact Fund and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Panacea (pronounced pan-uh-see-uh) is the newest restaurant in Amenia, NY. The name has Greek roots and means “the cure all” or the “remedy.” Panacea owners Jake Somers and Khendum Namgyal (who are also engaged!) purchased the building, which previously served as Serevan, a Mediterranean restaurant, from chef Serge Madikians.
Overall, we left very happy with our meal and with the dish options. The atmosphere was very cozy, the ambiance warm, the staff friendly, and the food absolutely delicious. If you find yourself in the Catskills, we recommend you make a stop at Trotwood Restaurant in the Glen Falls House!
