Lothar Osterberg grew up in Braunschweig, Germany, where he fulfilled his civil service and ignited an early passion for printmaking and filmmaking.

You may have heard the term “pelvic health” floating around more frequently, but what exactly is pelvic health? How do you know if you need pelvic floor physical therapy and what does it entail?

Stonewood Farm, located off of Bangall Road in Millbrook, NY, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that champions environmental stewardship, social justice, and community well-being in the Hudson Valley. 

When the town of Millerton, NY, and its environs learned that 52 Main bartenders Alanna Broesler and Jim Buhs were buying the business and opening a new restaurant in its place, it was as if the entire community breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Maitri Farm, set back a ways off of Amenia Union Road, may seem quiet and modest at first glance, but the farm is anything but. 

Moreish, the newest addition to the Hudson Valley Food Hall, located at 288 Main Street in Beacon, NY, officially opened on Saturday, March 7. 

“Up to this point, I had a black thumb,” laughed Debra Kaye, owner of Bear Creek Farm in Stanfordville, NY. 

The Stissing Theatre Guild is presenting “Matilda” at Stissing Mountain Jr/Sr High School on Friday, March 8, Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10. 

They are images of people who lived in the area over a century ago – not celebrities or scoundrels – just people.  

To maintain a viable future, it’s imperative that younger generations continue to become educated about agriculture and farming as well as learn how to be stewards of the land.
