Labor Day weekend already, and the weather is looking good! Let’s not say goodbye to summer yet. In fact, with peaches tasting so delicious right now, it’s the perfect time to kick back with a white sangria. Here’s what you’ll need: 1 bottle of dry white wine, preferably from Spain. The Marques de Caceres Verdejo is perfect (buy an extra to have in the fridge for another occasion). It’s crisp and light with some luscious tropical notes on the finish. Pour the bottle into a pitcher. Add one or two ripe peaches, sliced and then cubed. Add 6 or 7 white grapes, halved. You can also add some blueberries if you want. Add 1 Tablespoon brandy or triple sec. Stir and taste. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. When ready to serve, pour over large glasses with ice and add a splash of peach seltzer. Serve with tortilla chips. Have a sunshiney, good wine-y weekend!
