I’m sure you’re like me, when we were younger the holidays were a lot less stressful. Now it seems, this time of the year means expansive to-do lists, and hoards of humans descending on my house to take up space on my favorite spots on the couch. All of this commotion is no good for my scaredy-cat nerves, my R&R time, and most importantly, my skin care routine. For years I’ve struggled with cat-acne causing unpleasant trips to the vet, and an embarrassing amount of topical creams for my black “speckles” as my mother calls them. As a result, my chin becomes a veritable wasteland this time of year. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Pawlidays -moreover I love my Christmas tree fort- but, as I grow older, so too do my seasonal stress levels.
Shedding my summer coat only to grow a winter one, getting up early enough to see the birdies, and making sure everything on my-wish list for Santa Paws is accounted for.
