Was that a gorgeous moon on Monday night or what?

In fact, it was a Super Pink Moon (super moons appear larger in the sky than normal, and this one did not disappoint). It’s called a pink moon after the moss pink wildflower that blooms this time of year in the Northeast.

What better to celebrate a pink super moon than with a big glass of rose?

A rose from the Northeast is especially appropriate. Land of Nod Winery, in East Canaan, Connecticut, just reopened this month, and they have a rose on their wine list. The farm has been in the family for 200 years – that’s a lot of full moons.

Support local, and love the moon.
