Here goes!What better way to start a new year than with a wine that makes you wonder about what’s ahead? If you want to think deep thoughts about life – and wine – then here’s one (or some) to turn to this week: Prophecy. There are many varietals, including favorites like Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, even a Buttery Chardonnay. The grapes for the wines are sourced from around the world, designed to showcase defining characteristics of the grapes and, according to the winemakers, “spark your curiosity to look deeper as you discover and share great wines.” Done!The labels on these wines are gorgeous, the work of a New York-based Asian American illustrator, Victo Ngai. The wines are well worth their very affordable prices. Prophecy translates to “a prediction.” Here’s mine for you: It’s going to be a great year for wines.
