Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations. https://www.dcspca.org

Roki

Super-friendly, outgoing, and handsome Roki is a German Shepherd mix who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in the South and transported here for a chance at a happy life. At only 1 year old this charming guy still has a lot of fun puppy energy but is grown up enough to know how to sit on command. He is a happy-go-lucky fella who would love to go on hikes with his human BFF. Roki adores everyone he meets, and is looking for a forever family to call his own.

Come to DCSPCA to meet him: Tuesday-Sunday 12pm – 5pm (This week we are closed on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1)
