Roni-Bologna Business

By Published On: November 17th, 2022

So sorry fur ghosting you guys last week. Our household had been lucky enough to dodge this Roni-bologna business fur two and a half years, but it finally caught us a couple days after Halloween. Needless to say, it was the week furrom H, E, double hockey sticks. The doctor ordered lots of fluids, rest, and my snuggles were in supurr high demand.

Fast forward to Daylight Savings – evfurryone seemed to be on the upswing when, BAM! Ellie started complaining of ear pain. Now, I don’t claim to be a purrofessional doctor, but Ellie’s doctor toys came in purretty handy. I was thinking it might be ear mites, but come to find out she had a double ear infection. Once her actual doctor called in a purrescription I thought everyone fur sure evfurryone was in the clear. WRONG! Mom and Dad looked at each other the next day and said, “I feel like we’re gettin sick again.” So much fur that extra hour of cat-napping I thought I was getting. Ellie’s fevfurr came back along with a terrible bark. I thought only dogs barked? Unable to diagnose Ellie’s bark, Mom brought her to the doctors only to find out she now tested positive for RSV. That’s three illnesses in one week – you can’t make this stuff up.

Despite my close contact I nevfurr got sick (thank you sweet baby Turkey Gods!). I’m also happy to report, despite the occasional cough, thankfully evfurryone is doing SO much better. Ellie is back to school, and Mom and Dad are back to work. Now that the Rona has left the purremises, I am finally able to have some peace and quiet with evefurryone out of the house.

I hope you are all in good health! Until next time, furriends.
