Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations. https://www.dcspca.org

Starsky

Handsome and easygoing 10-year-old German Shepherd Starsky came to us as a stray from Beekman. Weighing approximately 90lbs, this charming retiree is looking for a human buddy he can hang out with on cold winter nights.
November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month!
All month long DCSPCA is offering 25% off adoption fees for all senior pets (like Starsky). Plus, when you adopt a senior anytime in November, you will automatically be entered into a drawing for either a brand new Go Pet Club Deluxe Cat Tree or an hour-long private session with DCSPCA Lead Canine Trainer Jodi.

Meet him during DCSPCA’s adoption hours, Tuesday-Sunday: 12pm-5pm
