The Otis Feed

In case you don’t recall, allow me to refurresh your memory. Mom always had at least one cat in the household since the day she came home furrom the hospital, so when Mom moved away furrom home (which was a whopping fifteen minutes away), she literally cried like a baby because she missed her cats so much. Against his better judgment, the tears wore Dad down and he allowed her to adopt ONE cat, but it had to be a male, and a long haired cat…and that would be her (early) purrthday purresent.

Conveniently, Mom had a coworker at the time who’s cat had just had a litter of kittens and there just happened to be one long haired male left looking fur a furrever home. Before Dad could even think about changing his mind, Mom was on the phone confurrming she could pick him up that same day. As they say, the rest is history.

It is me, I am that kitten, and I can confidently say that I am the best purrthday purresent Mom has ever received. Aside furrom Dad purrposing to Mom in 2011 with a shiny, white gold,  solitaire, princess cut diamond, nothing every could or evfurr will top my purresence. We might be fourteen years older, have a few more laugh lines, and like to indulge in our treats, but I think we still look good fur our age.
