The Cat Video Festival is a phenomenon that has taken the world by storm and will once again make its much anticipated return this month in theaters across the USA and around the world. Critics laud the festival as a delightful compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. Not only is the Cat Video Fest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, the event raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.

Starting this Friday, July 23, and running throughout the weekend, The Moviehouse in Millerton, NY, has announced it is pleased to be partnering with Main Street Magazine to screen the festival and will be donating 10% of ticket proceeds from its three screenings to The Little Guild of West Cornwall, CT. The Little Guild has become a staple in the Tri-Corner area known for going well beyond taking care of the daily and medical needs of the animals it serves. They offer behavior assessments, playgroups, activities and more and are determined to find their animals the best home. They also serve the broader community by offering spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, a free pet food pantry and pet-related educational events.

Staff from The Little Guild will be at The Moviehouse from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 24th with photos and information about the cats currently in their care that are available for adoption and can answer any of your adoption questions. Organizers say the Cat Video Fest 2021 is a great antidote for the last eighteen months and by coming to see the movie, folks will be helping cats in their local neighborhood as well.

The Cat Video Festival will be screened on Friday, July 23rd at 3:15 p.m., Saturday, July 24th at 3:00 p.m. & Sunday, July 25th at 3:45 p.m. and is suitable for adults, families, and children of all ages.
