Holy buttered biscuits, Batman!  I ate WAY too much on Thanksgiving and spent most of the day Furriday sleeping off my turkey coma…I guess that’s not much different than any other day? Anywho, on Caturday, in typical Mom fashion, she jumped right into the pawliday spirit – and I’m not disappointed! I must admit, the Caturday after Thanksgiving is a day I look forward to evfurry year.

You simply can’t decorate without Christmas music echoing throughout the house. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee is my all time favfurrrite. I feel like it really represents me chasing Mom around the tree while she purrfectly places the garland furrom top to bottom, and places each and evfurry ornament in a very purrecise spot.

Speaking of ornaments, just like last year Mom’s “theme” is white and silver snowflakes, with the expectation of a few very special ornaments that make the tree evfurry year. Mom and Dad’s furrst Christmas as a married couple is always the furrst to be hung. Ellie’s baby ornament even though it has a blue background of course makes the cut. And last, but certainly not least is my ornament. It was gifted to Mom fur my furrst Christmas and is always carefully placed on the tree.
