Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations.

Tortellini

Introducing Tortellini, a radiant 10-year-old dilute tortoiseshell cat. Found as a stray, she now blesses DCSPCA’s shelter with her sweet nature and elegant demeanor. Age hasn’t dimmed her playful spirit. Her tender purrs and affectionate nudges speak volumes about her loving heart. This lovely lady has hyperthyroidism, a condition common in older cats, which can be easily managed with daily medication.

Today, Tortellini is ready for her big break and a loving spot in a dream home, a place where she can continue sharing her warmth, resilience, and charm. If you’re seeking a mature, loving feline friend who can fill your life with comfort and affection, Tortellini awaits your visit.
