It’s time to bid 2023 goodbye and welcome in 2024. Champagne is a must. For me, there are a couple of stand-outs that are available everywhere. They are Veuve Cliquot and Moet Chandon. Go for the Brut of either or both, which is the driest. The Veuve has the most delightful bubbles and a nose full of a baguette right out of the oven. The Moet is also a sublime tickler and tantalizer with its fine bubbles and flavor notes of citrus and cream. Here’s a wonderful toast with which to celebrate.
