The Otis Feed

Normally the Saturday after Thanksgiving evfurry year is our designated date fur decking the halls, but this year Mom and Dad hosted Turkey Day, so we got to decorate early fur all to see. Which, by the way, I hope you all had a wonderful Turkey Day. I fur one am still digesting and coming out of my turkey coma.

If you recall last year, Mom had a master plan to nix the classic white lights that we’ve sported on the tree fur the last fourteen years fur colorful ones instead. Needless to say, it looked much prettier in Mom’s mind than the actual executed plan. With no extra time fur debate, we quickly reverted back to the classic white lights with silver accents. I don’t mind though. It looks very purretty and I think it’s going to be a purrmenent look in out household fur many years to come.

I know I say it evfurry year, but I mean it this year. I’m determined to catch a glimpse of Santa Paws! My plan of action is to practice taking longer catnaps during the day and staying awake at night. I perch myself under the tree as Santa Paws (hopefully) delivers the catnip kicker toys that are on the top of my Christmas list. Surely this oughta work!…unless you have other ideas fur me?
