Weekly Recap

By Published On: March 17th, 2021

What a week it’s been!

Just to refurresh your memory; last Furrsday I had a terrifying trip the vet. Mom couldn’t go in with me to hold my paws and I could only hear her voice through a walkie-talkie. The ladies that took care of me were nice, howevfurr I didn’t appurreciate having part of my hind-leg shaved to have blood work done. On top of all the anxiety, they gave me two shots!

WTF!? (that’s short for what the fluff)

All that fuss just fur them to tell Mom I’m a healthy and spoiled house cat.

Next came the time change. Springing ahead always takes some getting used to, in my case because of the one less hour of catnaps I get to enjoy. Throws my entire schedule off, but I’m starting to get back into the swing of things.

I’m still waking up early fur breakfast – so I must be doing something right.

Speaking of waking up early – after Mom fed me breakfast on Sunday morning, I kept meowing. Dad didn’t like this too much of course, but Mom, ever the gumshoe, discovered the reason behind my howls for attention. There was an intruder on the deck; another cat! How dare you come to my house!

Mom shooed him away and he hasn’t been back since. He has instead been replaced by a bunny hopping around outside taunting me.

That brings us to today; St. Patty’s day. Are you all wearing green? Mom says we have to, but I’m not sure why because we don’t have an ounce of Irish in us. Leave it to Mom to make sure I don’t miss out on color coordination.

Until next week furriends.
