Founded in 1871, Dutchess County SPCA is one of the oldest SPCAs in the country.  It is a no-kill shelter, and the only animal welfare organization in Dutchess County chartered to enforce humane law.  Dutchess County SPCA is not a governmental agency, nor is it affiliated with the ASPCA.  It is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by private donations. https://www.dcspca.org

Wish

Wish is a 3 ½-year-old sweetie who loves people, cats, and all of the treats! She is wishing on a star for a forever home where she will be appreciated for the wonderful dog she is. Wish loves getting attention from humans almost as much as getting a good pupsicle. She would be an excellent dog to take hiking, camping or on any other adventures! She gets along with cats but will do best in a home where she is the only dog. Apply to adopt Wish: https://bit.ly/3B27VFM
