WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO MEET STELLA + JOEY
OTIS JOE & ASHLEY JO

Our director of advertising, Ashley Kristjansson, is a self proclaimed crazy cat lady who once upon a time only had one cat. Luckily for Ashley, and the entire world, that one feline, Otis, used this platform to take us on many indoor kitty adventures and earned himself quite the fan following. Upgrading from one to two cats, Ashley would like to introduce her new furbabies, Stella and Joey, whom are now taking over the monthly Main Street Magazine pet web posts. Readers have been granted one of a kind access to the King and Queen of Ashley’s heart and all of their furbaby adventures. Won’t you join us?

THE CAT FEED: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
Pet Peeve
I want a show of paws, how many of you have a pet peeve?
Mine is having people touch my paws. Don’t get me wrong, I like being pet and all. Getting the extra attention as a long-haired cat has its purrks, but purretty please leave my toe fluff alone! They are only supposed to be used furr swatting remote controls and human hands out of the way, scratching behind my ears, batting toys around, and furr putting scratch marks in the hard wood floor when […]

My mom is home taking care of her and trying to work too, all while trying not to get sick herself, though she’s already been on the receiving end of a few my sister’s hairballs.
Ugh, I’m not used to […]
So long summer
I hope you all had a great summer, I sure did.
My days were spent -too few days really- sitting just inside the furront door chattering to, and watching the birdies build a nest for their babies. Almost all of my afternoons were spent laying in the windowsill working on my tan. I didn’t get my summer body this year, rather, I indulged in turkey deli meat. Of course, I got brushed countless times, because being a long haired cat can be extra hot in the […]
My middle name
My name is Otis, but when I’m in trouble (which hardly ever happens, except for when I jump up on the counter), my mom calls me Otis Joe. Why Joe? Well, My great grandpa’s real name (my mom’s grandpa) is Ronald, but as the story goes, furr no rhyme or reason Ronald’s grandfather called him Joe, and it’s stuck for all these years. My mom’s name is Ashley Jo (the feminine spelling for Joe), in honor of her grandpa. The name I was given at […]
