Luckily for Ashley, and the entire world, that one feline, Otis, used this platform to take us on many indoor kitty adventures and earned himself quite the fan following. Upgrading from one to two cats, Ashley would like to introduce her new furbabies, Stella and Joey, whom are now taking over the monthly Main Street Magazine pet web posts. International Cat Day
Happy (belated) international cat day furriends! I hope all my fellow feline furriends felt all the love as much as I did yesterday. But to be fair, evfurry day feels like internation cat day at my house. My family goes above and beyond making me truly feel like the only cat in their lives…actually I am the only cat in their lives.
Cat Days Of Summer…Or?
Purrdon me fur the stink eye, but I have a good reason fur it. I have a bit of a bone to pick with my K-9 furriends (pun intended). I’m sure you’ve heard about the “dog days of summer”. But what does that even mean? According to Google the 'dog days' are considered to be the hottest and most unbearable days of the season, which are furrom July 3rd to August 11th each year. That’s all fine and dandy, but what about the cat days summer…or any season fur that matter?

I hope you’re not sick of me talking about music. I can’t help myself. Music runs strong through my veins thanks to Mom. So last week was the 50th CMA Country Music Fest and while Mom simultaneously pampurred her nails and be-bopped, I too enjoyed the lineup of country stars. Switfting, purrdon me, switching gears furrom Mom’s Shania Twain high, this week I’m getting in touch with my inner swiftie. What is a swiftie you ask? A swiftie is a true Taylor Swift fan. I know I might not strike you as someone who’s into Taylor Swift music, but she loves cats and oftentimes includes cat refurrences in her lyrics. That automatically makes me (and Mom) a fan.
