WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO MEET STELLA + JOEY

OTIS JOE & ASHLEY JO

Our director of advertising, Ashley Kristjansson, is a self proclaimed crazy cat lady who once upon a time only had one cat. Luckily for Ashley, and the entire world, that one feline, Otis, used this platform to take us on many indoor kitty adventures and earned himself quite the fan following. Upgrading from one to two cats, Ashley would like to introduce her new furbabies, Stella and Joey, whom are now taking over the monthly Main Street Magazine pet web posts. Readers have been granted one of a kind access to the King and Queen of Ashley’s heart and all of their furbaby adventures. Won’t you join us?

THE CAT FEED: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Fuzzy Flops

As I sit on the back of the couch aimlessly staring out at the backyard door at the eyesore of a mess Dad has made in purrepurration fur the pool, I’m also watching summer slip away. The leaves are slowly starting to change color and fall and the chill in the air is starting to settle in…hence the blanket that’s purrfectly draped ovfurr me. I spend most of my days deciding if it’s time to shed my summer coat and put on my winter […]

Since I’ve been so laser focused on Mom’s recovfurry, I furrgot to tell you Ellie started Kindergarten last week. That’s right, my kid sister is officially a big kid! School started off great, but Ellie has slowly expurressed missing Mom more so than usual and has even come off the bus crying fur Mom.

Mom and Dad think it has to do with a change in her routine since Mom was laid up, and being a big kid means more work in school, eating lunch […]

Recovfurry

Here we are; six days post op and as purromised, an update on how things are going with Mom. Furrst and foremost, surgery went very well. Just as the ultrasound had shown, Mom had hundreds of little stones in her gallbladder, which was causing her constant discomfurrt. Doc also caught a glimpse of Mom’s heart through one of the laparoscopic camera holes and saw it was just a picture of me! I know…I can’t believe it either.

The furrst couple days Mom was supurr […]

Spilling The Tea

Before you assume – no, I don’t have any juicy gossip fur you. But while I’m sipping on my pretend princess tea, I thought I’d fill you in on Mom’s health. Going back to 2018, only a few days after Ellie was born, Mom had a gallbladder attack. She was scheduled to have surgery soon after, but opted to cancel her surgery because she was feeling better and knew she wouldn’t be able to hold her (then) newborn, and of course, me! Jumping forward to […]
