Summer In Octopurr

When I think of Octopurr I usually think of watching leaves changes colors and fall to the ground, tempurratures giving the air a chill, snuggling up with a good blankie, and blankly staring at Mom’s pumpkin decor. But here we are; Octopurr 4, 2023 and temps have been unseasonably warm this week. In fact, we’re […]

Binge Watching

I don’t really have much say about what’s on TV as it’s basically just background noise during my catnaps. However, Mom’s been hogging the TV more than usual lately, or should I say binge watching as she calls it, “scripted reality love TV”. In no purrticular order her go to’s are Married At Furrst […]

Fuzzy Flops

As I sit on the back of the couch aimlessly staring out at the backyard door at the eyesore of a mess Dad has made in purrepurration fur the pool, I’m also watching summer slip away. The leaves are slowly starting to change color and fall and the chill in the air is starting […]

I Miss Mom, Too!

Since I’ve been so laser focused on Mom’s recovfurry, I furrgot to tell you Ellie started Kindergarten last week. That’s right, my kid sister is officially a big kid! School started off great, but Ellie has slowly expurressed missing Mom more so than usual and has even come off the bus crying fur Mom.

Recovfurry

Here we are; six days post op and as purromised, an update on how things are going with Mom. Furrst and foremost, surgery went very well. Just as the ultrasound had shown, Mom had hundreds of little stones in her gallbladder, which was causing her constant discomfurrt. Doc also caught a glimpse of Mom’s […]

Spilling The Tea

Before you assume – no, I don’t have any juicy gossip fur you. But while I’m sipping on my pretend princess tea, I thought I’d fill you in on Mom’s health. Going back to 2018, only a few days after Ellie was born, Mom had a gallbladder attack. She was scheduled to have surgery soon […]

House Purrojects

If I had thumbs, I’d be sitting here twiddling them. This past week there has been a lot of commotion going on at the house. This has really put a monkey wrench in my cat-napping schedule, but to continue living my best indoor kitty life I’m willing to forgo a nap or two.

Although […]

Purrthday Week

Whatta week. Mom, Dad, and Ellie, made the trek to Iceland fur Ellie’s purrthday only to purractilly turn around and come home due to Mom not feeling her oats. (Not to worry, she’ll be fine. It’s just her gallbladder.) Anyway, Ellie rang in her fifth purrthday with a total of five purrthday parties of course.

International Cat Day

Happy (belated) international cat day furriends! I hope all my fellow feline furriends felt all the love as much as I did yesterday. But to be fair, evfurry day feels like internation cat day at my house. My family goes above and beyond making me truly feel like the only cat in their lives…actually I am the only cat in their lives.
