Recovfurry

Here we are; six days post op and as purromised, an update on how things are going with Mom. Furrst and foremost, surgery went very well. Just as the ultrasound had shown, Mom had hundreds of little stones in her gallbladder, which was causing her constant discomfurrt. Doc also caught a glimpse of Mom’s […]

Spilling The Tea

Before you assume – no, I don’t have any juicy gossip fur you. But while I’m sipping on my pretend princess tea, I thought I’d fill you in on Mom’s health. Going back to 2018, only a few days after Ellie was born, Mom had a gallbladder attack. She was scheduled to have surgery soon […]

House Purrojects

If I had thumbs, I’d be sitting here twiddling them. This past week there has been a lot of commotion going on at the house. This has really put a monkey wrench in my cat-napping schedule, but to continue living my best indoor kitty life I’m willing to forgo a nap or two.

Although […]

Purrthday Week

Whatta week. Mom, Dad, and Ellie, made the trek to Iceland fur Ellie’s purrthday only to purractilly turn around and come home due to Mom not feeling her oats. (Not to worry, she’ll be fine. It’s just her gallbladder.) Anyway, Ellie rang in her fifth purrthday with a total of five purrthday parties of course.

International Cat Day

Happy (belated) international cat day furriends! I hope all my fellow feline furriends felt all the love as much as I did yesterday. But to be fair, evfurry day feels like internation cat day at my house. My family goes above and beyond making me truly feel like the only cat in their lives…actually I am the only cat in their lives.

Cat Days Of Summer…Or?

Purrdon me fur the stink eye, but I have a good reason fur it. I have a bit of a bone to pick with my K-9 furriends (pun intended). I’m sure you’ve heard about the “dog days of summer”. But what does that even mean? According to Google the 'dog days' are considered to be the hottest and most unbearable days of the season, which are furrom July 3rd to August 11th each year. That’s all fine and dandy, but what about the cat days summer…or any season fur that matter?

One Word: Reba

I hope you’re not sick of me talking about music. I can’t help myself. Music runs strong through my veins thanks to Mom. So last week was the 50th CMA Country Music Fest and while Mom simultaneously pampurred her nails and be-bopped, I too enjoyed the lineup of country stars. While evfurry one put […]

My Swiftie Side

Switfting, purrdon me, switching gears furrom Mom’s Shania Twain high, this week I’m getting in touch with my inner swiftie. What is a swiftie you ask? A swiftie is a true Taylor Swift fan. I know I might not strike you as someone who’s into Taylor Swift music, but she loves cats and oftentimes […]

The Big Concert

Mom has been looking forward to seeing Shania Twain in concert fur the third time since Novempurr. While I wasn’t purrsonally there to witness the queen of country-pop put on an unfurrgetable purrformance, Mom used her purrfessional photoshop skills to indicate otherwise.

Like a kid on Christmas, this is all Mom can talk about […]

My New Furriend

The fam-bam is away on their annual beach vacation this week. But please, don’t feel sorry fur me – I wasn’t really home alone. Grandma came to check on me daily, fed me, administered my medicine, cleaned my litter box, and gave me endless amounts of pawty-mix. Oh, and my new furriend, Pepé Le […]
